A Little Adventure!

Well, I missed my chance to blog last week.  Unfortunately, a family tragedy led me back to AZ for a week to spend some time with loved ones.  It was wonderful seeing family and I grew and learned a lot from the experience.  In fact, I am very excited about the next blog because I am doing some real work on an idea I’ve had for a long time that the last week has really helped me hone in on.  It is a lesson in life through art!  But, for now, I have some fun photos to share!!

Before I got “the call”, My husband and I were on our way to Bellingham, WA to visit his family.  We did a little extra adventuring, as we usually do.  I believe in making the most of every moment and every experience.  I like to take the time to stop when I see something worth capturing.  It makes an ordinary drive an adventure and you never know where it might lead you.

A little drive up the coast and a nice view of the San Juan Islands!  Chuckanut Drive!

The ocean is one of my very favorite things! I always have to pull over and admire it!

Nothing like a well-maintained, elaborate Victorian home to make hearts pop out of your eye sockets!

A little back roads farm life!  I love cows, especially fluffy ones!!  These are Scottish Highland cows.

I love old trucks in a random field. Yes, that is the ocean back there in the background.  Farm life meets coastal living!
